Margo Fraser holds a B.Sc. (Co-op) and M.Sc. in Kinesiology specializing in Ergonomics from the University of Waterloo as well as a Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. She is a Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist (CCPE)* and both Past-President and President-Elect of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists/Association canadienne d'ergonomie. Margo is a Registered Kinesiologist (R.K.) with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists and is a core member of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) technical committee on Ergonomics for Children and Educational Environments (ECEE). Margo worked as a research assistant at the University of Waterloo in the occupational biomechanics and ergonomics lab between degrees and has since consulted in a number of settings including electronics assembly, control rooms, financial institutions, petrochemical manufacturing, oil and gas, pulp and paper, printing, libraries, schools, municipalities, drivers, laboratories, light manufacturing, offices and home offices. Outside of work, Margo is a member of the Canadian National Age Group Triathlon team and volunteers as a speed skating coach, coaching at the Salt Lake Olympics for skaters from Latvia and Canada.
